- Broken after 2 weeks and no support

In general the U8 seemed to be a very nice tablet wit ha good size.
Unfortunately the charging socket already showed some weakness after the first days. The cable only loosely fitted into the socket and the device disconnected when it was moved.
After only 2 weeks, the tablet did not charge at all anymore. I have tried multiple chargers and cables, but no success. After beeing fully discharged, the tablet is now nothing more than a brick!
Unfortunately also the support is not very helpful and refuses to cover a return shipment of the broken device. According to PIPO, only broken devices returned within 7 days are subject to shipping cost refund.

Just buy it! I was very impressed with the box this U8 comes in..if that's so well put together and presentable then that really speaks well for the tablet. This tablet will have you smiling right from the start up. Super fast and big bright screen with great clarity. Battery life is great, kids interface is fun and kids love it.

That's it really. This is far and away the best tablet I've used and it's mine :-) Even the cameras are ok (for Skype and QR codes).
Unfortunately WiFi is very weak because of the aluminium shell. Would be better in plastic. Battery could be a bit better too, but it's not bad at all given the limitations.
Oh the early firmware was buggy. Make sure you update it if it's dated before August.Star - what a surprise !!
